Are you using article marketing in your online business? Are you submitting the same article to all the different article directories online? If you are, the duplicate content filters are pretty much rendering your time effort worthless. So stop wasting your time, and change your approach to ensure you never get hit with duplicate content penalties again.
There are a lot of great places online to submit your articles to, and in return they can generate a lot of traffic for your web site, but if the search engines see the same article all over the web, they’ll simply ignore all but the first one they found. So you need to think a little more “out of the box” in order to generate the traffic and backlinks that the “people in the know” are getting.
Article Marketing is Dead – Long Live Article Marketing
Article marketing is still very effective, but now you have to work a little bit smarter to get the search engines to pay attention to your articles. The rules of the game have changed recently, but once you know what those rules are, you can be back to generating masses of traffic and backlinks just like the old days. Fortunately there are one or two new software applications on the market that can do most of the “smart work” for you.
What most of the tools attempt to accomplish is to submit a unique version of your article to literally hundreds of article directories and ezine publishers – which is a huge benefit and great way to save a lot of time and effort. The end result is that each website that your article is submitted to gets a totally unique version of your original article – so no duplicates anywhere to be seen.
Unfortunately most of them either simply don’t work, or require more time to get setup than it would take to write unique versions of your article in the first place.
Unique Article Marketing is The Way Forward
There are however, two very effective (and fairly inexpensive) tools that I’ve found (and have been using in my own affiliate marketing business) that work exceptionally well.
They will both submit a totally unique version of your article to each of the directories they submit to, so you never have to worry about duplicate content every again. And before you worry about low quality machine generated content, they both use a system that means each article submitted is a human edited version that passes human and search engine interrogation. Each of these applications submits to a separate list of websites and directories, so by using them both you get double the power.
These tools work by having you create 3 separate versions of your article. They then select paragraphs at random to create a new and totally unique version before submitting it to the next article directory or publisher. They will always take the paragraphs in sequence (so paragraph 3 of any of the original articles will always be paragraph 3 of the new article), but by mixing them up, you get a huge number of unique permutations
Each of your 3 original articles needs to have the same number of paragraphs, and each paragraph needs to say the same thing – just using different words and perhaps in a different style. I outsource all my articles, but they’re easy enough to write yourself if you’re on a tight budget.
I’ve been using 2 of these unique article submission tools for several months now, and have been extremely pleased with the results I’ve seen.
